Scouting Report
A supremely gifted outfielder with incredible baseball instincts, he was one of the greatest contact hitters ever. A prolific singles hitter and run scorer, he also had a great throwing arm and base-stealing speed. Did not hit a lot of home runs (seemingly by choice) and generally tried to hit the ball on the ground (which limited extra-base hits). Did not take a lot of walks. Was not seen as a major clubhouse leader.
Long Range Potential: Elite contact hitter & Hall-of-Fame outfielder.
