Scouting Report
What made him special, aside from the intimidation factor at 6'6", 300 pounds, was his devastating slider and his ability to change speeds effectively. His circle-change was also quite effective. Had great control and durability (despite his burly frame). He was also a very underrated athlete with outstanding hitting skills for a pitcher (and huge power). Every now and then, he would give into batters and surrender too many long balls. Battled weight issues throughout his career. Could also lose focus from time to time. Wear and tear led to his eventual decline but he outlasted several of his peers.
Long Range Potential: Big, talented and quality left-hander.
