Scouting Report
Could be an effective workhorse for any staff, thanks in large part to a great feel for pitching. Pitched to contact very effectively. Became a better pitcher with age. Was usually around the plate. Could log a lot of innings in MLB. Left-handed hitters had greater success than right-handers against him. Lacked a truly dominant strikeout pitch, so there was always a little more pressure on his defense to make plays behind him. Gave up his share of home runs.
Long Range Potential: Savvy, work horse right-hander.
