Rodriguez came to terms Tuesday with the Rangers on a minor-league contract, Gerry Fraley of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Scouting Report
While he has some experience as a starting pitcher in the low minors, he appears to have found his niche while pitching out of the bullpen. Has good stuff and can strike plenty of batters out. Injuries have been an issue during his development, so he must prove he can be counted on to pitch on consecutive days over the long haul. Therefore, he needs to improve his stamina.
Long Range Potential: Decent right-hander, when healthy.
