The Mets acquired Hudson from the Cubs in exchange for cash considerations.
Scouting Report
Has shown he can hit for a high batting average in the minor leagues. Is a solid receiver who calls a decent game from behind the plate. Does not have much in the way of home-run power, which limits his appearances. Overall, his talent is reduced to backup duties in MLB.
