Is a very selective hitter who can draw a fair amount of walks and work pitchers' counts. Can also hit for a decent average, which makes him valuable off the bench. Doesn't have enough power to play everyday at the big-league level. Also doesn't have enough base-stealing speed to compensate for his lack of power.
