Mejias-Brean was traded to the Mariners for a player to be named later, Zach Buchanan of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Scouting Report
Is a solid hitter for average in the minor leagues. He is also a disciplined batter with good knowledge of the strike zone. Can play either corner infield position and is a good defender with smooth hands and a strong throwing arm. Does not have the requisite home-run power normally associated with the corner infield positions.
Long Range Potential: Backup corner infielder.
