Could hit plenty of home runs in the minor leagues due to supreme power. Plus, he could also draw a fair amount of walks. Mashed left-handed pitching. Struck out at an alarming rate, which is why he could never maximize production in Major League Baseball. Also, he was not much of an athlete.
